About us

Tiny Roar is a video game studio based in Hamburg, developing games for PC and consoles. Since its founding in 2015, the studio has released over 10 games and has grown to a team of 14 employees.

Currently, we are working on the games Wanderful and Lou's Lagoon and are in the conceptual phase for another project. For our new project, we are looking for a junior developer with the desire to create fantastic games and tools.

Tiny Roar has clear principles when it comes to crunch, sexism, and racism - we do not tolerate any of these in our studio. Our studio is a safe space for developers of all backgrounds and we will continue to handpick every new team member to uphold these values.

Responsibilities

Tasks:

• Eexecuting game programming tasks.
• Working closely with the game design, art, and sound teams to define and optimize game concepts and features.
• Developing performant, and maintainable code for games on various platforms.
• Planning and implementing gameplay mechanics, graphics, sound effects, and corresponding interfaces.
• Solving technical challenges and optimizing game performance on different platforms.
• Keeping close communication with the team about new features and tools.
• Staying up-to-date with new developments and tools.
• Working closely with our tech lead to develop cross-company tools and frameworks.

Requirements:

• You have first experiences in game development
• Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Proven experience in game development and knowledge in working with Unity.
• C# skills.
