About us

Tiny Roar is a video game studio based in Hamburg, developing games for PC and consoles. Since its founding in 2015, the studio has released over 10 games and grown to a team of 14 employees.

Currently, we are working on the games Wanderful and Lou’s Lagoon and in the conceptual phase for another project. To keep these projects on track, we are looking for someone to oversee development and keep the team on schedule while remaining a healthy environment.

Tiny Roar has clear principles regarding crunch, sexism, and racism - none of these exist within our studio. Our studio is a safe space for developers of all types and backgrounds, and we will continue to carefully select new team members to maintain these values.

Responsibilities

Tasks:

• You work with multiple teams to develop project-specific optimal project management structures.
• You lead and document stand-ups, kick-offs, and other meetings.
• You have a good overview of all projects at all times and know how to quickly access any important information if necessary.
• Monitoring and coordinating all aspects of game projects, including scheduling, resource management, quality assurance, and risk management.
• Close collaboration with various departments, including game design, art, code, and sound, to ensure that all processes not only run smoothly but also establish new processes.
• Creating and monitoring project plans, including milestones and task distribution, to ensure that the project can be completed on time and within budget without crunching.
• Identifying and addressing challenges and risks during the project.
• Communicating with internal teams and external partners to ensure that all project goals and requirements are met.
• Managing project budgets and monitoring cost control together with management.
• Continuously improving project management processes and methods to optimize the efficiency and quality of project implementation.

Requirements:

• Excellent German and English skills in speaking and writing.
• You are proactive and contribute to the development.
